Leona Leong is Promoted to VP, Customer Experience

After two years at Coconut Software as Director of Customer Experience, we’re pleased to announce that Leona Leong was promoted to VP, Customer Experience. 

Leona has over a decade of dedicated customer success experience primarily focused on enterprise B2B technology. 

“Our team’s mission for 2022 is to make every customer at Coconut an advocate and that starts with making sure every employee is a champion for Coconut. I believe that happy employees lead to happy customers and we are focused on building out a team and culture that cares deeply about the success of our customers.” states Leong.  

Previous to Coconut Software, Leona worked at Influitive as a Manager of their customer success department. She has a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and actively participates in several customer experience communities, such as CS in Focus, as their community lead.

Leona shared why customer experience is her passion “I’ve always been a fan of stories as a child. What drew me into customer experience and continues to inspire me today is working with customers and helping them be the heroes of their own story.” She adds “Our team – from onboarding to the customer success team to the support team – is here to guide customers through their Coconut journey with the goal of recognizing value and achieving outcomes using our software. Essentially, making them the heroes of their companies.” 

Leona will be leading the entire Customer Experience function at Coconut Software, from technical support, to professional services, to the customer success function. She is actively building out her team in order to reach Coconut’s growth goals post Series B raise through helping Coconut’s customers see success and achieve ROI. 

“Leona has a special ability to simultaneously manage a busy Customer Experience organization while also planning for the future and managing considerable ongoing growth.  We look forward to Leona’s continuing leadership as we deliver on our three year plan” said Jim MacDonald, Coconut Software’s Chief Revenue Officer.

Leona has called five countries home, but currently lives in Toronto.
